CLASS TRIP 2015
Hello again! We took this time off to talk about something interesting that happened just on the 22nd of June (Monday).
It was one of our annual class trips! And we would like to share some of our experiences with you guys!
Firstly, the chocolate gallery...
Our very first destination of the day was the chocolate gallery. Here, they showed us what a cocoa plant looked like and what were its other uses. For example, other than chocolate, it can also be used to make cocoa butter that now serves as a common skin lotion ingredient.
They also showed us what other types of chocolates can be made from the same cocoa plant. There was quite a handful of them including Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Sesame Chocolate and even Chili Chocolate.

Next, the "Batik" Factory...
"Batik" is a type of art mainly found in Malaysia and Indonesia. It is a very special type of art and brings pride to the people of the countries stated, it also requires a lot of skill to create.
Here at the "Batik" Factory, we were given the opportunity to look at some amazing products and also try making our very own "Batik" art work!
We made our "Batik" by brushing hot wax over a piece of linen and painting the areas of linen after that. That way, the hot wax will remain as the linen's original colour and the paint (after it has dried) will make some very colourful pieces of art.

Then, we headed up to "Aquaria KLCC"...
After having a quick lunch at the food court, we decided to take a walk around the "KLCC Park" which was a park connecting all of the structures in the area. Here are some of the pictures that we took together...
We also walked to the world-renowned "Suria KLCC", a high-end shopping complex attracting many foreigners and tourists.
Then, the real fun starts when we enter "Aquaria". To summarize in three words, IT WAS AMAZING. We never knew that there would be so many types of fish and sea creatures that lived under the tropical climate. There were fish like the Frog Fish, the Lion Fish, the Cow Fish and much, much more.
We also catched the shark-feeding show only held twice a week at "Aquaria". The professional divers really showcased their skill and patience by communicating in water and giving the sharks a good meal.
Overall, this was quite a good trip for us and we would update you guys on more of these (the scheduled posts will still continue, of course). Thanks for reading!
Fact of the day: The Sand Tiger Shark only requires to eat up to 3% of its body weight per day!
